Doubles

Drunk.
Diedre and I have just been challenged to a game of pool, doubles. I talk to one of our challengers, Ian.
"So, are you from Montreal?"
"Nah, I just moved to the Plateau. I'm actually from Winnipeg."
"Really?! I'm from Winnipeg, from North Kildonan."
"Did you guys just say Winnipeg?" asks a woman walking by with a pitcher of beer. "I just heard you say 'North Kildonan.' I'm from Winnipeg too."
Ian and I explain where we're from, and this woman explains to me, "Winnipeg is nice, but it's limiting unless you want to have a family in like... 5 years. In Montreal, there are none of those limitations. You should move here!"
Not the first time I've heard that sentiment, so it's still not enough to convince me.
